Jutta Goessl is a multidisciplinary designer and creative director based between East London and Vienna.
Her work covers many areas in the field of design, art and creative direction, a reflection of the incredible people and design teams she worked with over the years.
She immersed herself in two parallel universes of design early into her career; simultaneously exploring the curious world of Raw-Edges, as well as the elemental simplicity of Tomoko Azumi’s practice TNA Design Studio, whilst finishing her studies at FH Joanneum Graz, Austria.
After graduation Jutta joined Yael & Shay at Raw-Edges for a few years, working alongside them on wide-ranging projects, creating furniture, tiles, rugs and accessories for brands like Vitra, Mutina, GAN and Louis Vuitton and developing playful spaces in the field of interior, exhibition and installation design for Caesarstone, Kvadrat, AirBnB or institutions like the Vitra Design Museum.
In 2018, she returned to TNA Design Studio, where she became Head of Design shortly after, whilst working on other projects for Barber Osgerby, Raw-Edges and various commercial and private clients.
Jutta launched her design practice in 2020 with the release of eyewear brand 001. / "one dot”, she had developed in collaboration with TNA for Tanaka Optical Japan.
The studio is driven by an exploratory approach to design and an almost child-like curiosity as the starting point of each new project. Applied to products for the home, spectacles, bold sculptural furniture collections, large spatial designs or installations, traces of the curious inner child always find its way into the final aesthetics. It might be as discreet as a tiny detail or as bold as a collections colour range...
Running the studio in-between London and Vienna, sets the contrasting and continuously changing environment the studio thrives in.
